Students must go to and from the studio
wearing cover-ups over their dance attire. Students must be dressed
properly for class and will be asked to observe class if dressed
inappropriately. Dress code is as follows: NO JEWELRY OR WATCHES
Ballet: hair in bun, short hair pulled
back, pink ballet shoes, pink tights
** NEW Leotard Colors:
Ballet/Tap Combos 3-7: light pink
Primary Ballet: light blue
Ballet 1-4: lilac or black
Ballet 5-up: burgundy or black
Tap/Jazz: solid color leotard, tan or
pink tights, tap or jazz shoes. Bicycle shorts or jazz pants accepted.
NO other shorts or street clothes. Hair back in pony tail or bun.
Boys: appropriate pants and shirt
Skirts: last lesson of month. Adults
may wear skirts anytime.

Newport Dance Academy offers many
disciplines of dance instruction. We are proud to teach the Cecchetti
method of ballet and offer yearly ballet exams. Newport Dance
Academy's family atmosphere makes it a great place to take a class for
fun, try dance for the first time, study the art of ballet or train
for a career in dance or a dance related field. Our friendly faculty
come with a wide range of experience and we have preschool specialists
on staff. Newport Dance Academy offers a strong performing group
